A Tale of Walking Two Cities

WaddeldrinkLike most radio journalists I've done my fair share of vox-pops in the last couple of weeks; hanging around garages accosting innocent motorists and asking them how they are coping with the prices and thereby making the pain of filling up the tank just that little bit more acute.

Well there's always walking and this podcast unites two people with a passion for traveling on foot. Lisa Salem of Walklawithme.com is attempting to walk round every neighbourhood in LA vlogging her experiences as a kind of participatory art project; Aussie Alan Waddell is also traveling round every nook and cranny of his city, Sydney, entirely on foot, and at the tender age of 91 too
