Firstly apologies for the extended absence I've moved back to the UK and it's taken a while to set up home broadband. I don't like blogging from work.

Anyway was nice to see that Dan Chung has his own photoblog section on the Guardian's Comment is Free Site. We've covered the same events in the US twice now: A bizarre Michael Moore rally during the 2004 US presidential election, and the Michael Jackson trial. Dan's a really nice guy and a great photographer. This is one he took of me, in the company of a colleague from the BBC (i.e. The Big Belly Crew motorcycle club)
